WomenLead brings together Peshawar’s young women Entrepreneurs and fashion designers

Women’s Avenue in collaboration with Qissa Khwanan as its main partner successfully launched women entrepreneurs of Peshawar. Women-Lead celebrated 16 days of activism which is the United Nations campaign worldwide spreading awareness to end violence against women. Women Lead dedicated the evening of 20th December where 16 women entrepreneurs were honored for their courage and breaking barriers.

The event filled colors in the evening of winters by launching fresh wedding, autumn casuals and formal collection of home-based designers through a Fashion Walk by emerging models. This evening was dedicated to all women who are struggling for setting up their businesses. The event Media Partner Black and White studio took care of photography, videography and cinematography of the event.

The event supported women entrepreneurs and startups businesses from Peshawar included The Stitch Crafts, Tabinda Farukh Handmade Jewelry, Mayron Skin Care, Noori Collection, Naila Haroon’s Collection, Jasmin Khan-JK Collection, Sana Tajik and Ali Collection, BE-YOU Wardrobe and CHINGARI by Dure-Shehwar. The makeovers of models were exclusively done by Cazibe by Mahnoor Arbab and Glambar Salon.

Women Lead Fashion Walk was lit up by emerging and talented Peshawar-based models named Sonia Shah, Seher Awan, Maha Khan, Hafsa Khan and Sumbal Yousaf. The event gave the opportunity to young talents including Inshal as youngest Model at the age of fifteen, Ms. Samreen Farooqi as Vocalist and Adam Khan as an emerging Guitarist. Performers from Rubab Circle mesmerized the audience with melodious rubab performance.

The event was celebrated at Siddiqui Mansion which is a luxury Italian Style built house opened for small scale public events and wedding/anniversary photo shoots. A mesmerizing event décor was done by The House of TRK by designing Ramp for Models. The evening turned out to be homelike by the delicious food served by Food Punch.
Other Partners for the event were Cafeina Courtyard opened by Ms. Asiya Bibi- Vice President of Women Chamber of Commerce who hosted after event chief guests. The Enlight Lab and Timeless Media collaborated for Media coverage.

The event was joined by Ms. Nasreen, Executive Member of Women Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Khalid Khan Director from Directorate of Science and Technology, Dr. Obaid Founder of SubHealth-Health Mobile App and Surgeon at North West Hospital and Asiya Bibi as dignitaries.

The event commemorated 16days of activism, a campaign that is celebrated all over the world to empower women, highlight women’s stories and hear women’s voices. WomenLead is brought by Women’s Avenue – a women’s own digital platform powered by a non-profit The Enlight Lab, giving opportunity to women to express and share their views, products and services. The event commemorated 16days of activism with thematic Orange the world- campaign.
